FISHING
As a guest at Fårup Sø Camping you have the opportunity to fish from our own beach. This does not require a fishing license for seniors and children. Ask the staff in our reception for an overview of what fish species you can catch in Fårup Lake!
PRIVATE BEACH
Do you prefer a swim in the lake rather than the pool? Fårup Sø Camping has its own private beach directly down to Fårup Sø. The water is allowed to take a swim in!

HIKING AND CYCLING
In addition, Fårup Lake is a great place for hikers and cyclists as the range of good hiking and cycling routes around the lake and in the area are many! Ask the staff at the reception for hiking and cycling routes!
SAILING
As a guest at the campsite, you can also, as something completely unique, be allowed to put your own boat / kayak in the water and be allowed to sail on the entire lake.

one of the most beautiful in the country – shaped by rivers, glaciers and meltwater
The campsite is located directly down to Fårup Lake – surrounded by beautiful nature. Fårup Lake is one of the area’s deepest lakes, and most of the lake’s water comes from springs in and by the lake. By the lake you will often be able to see topped patch divers and gravand, and you may be lucky to experience kingfishers or ospreys. For part of the summer, the impressive Viking ship “Jelling Orm” is on the lake.
