Art and architecture

In Vejle, the architectural gems stand side by side with beautiful historic buildings. Fjordenhus

Fjordenhus is Olafur Eliasson’s iconic building on Vejle’s waterfront and the headquarters of Kirk Kapital A / S. The building is the world-famous artist’s first building and already a well-known landmark for Vejle. There is public access.

Bølgen / The wave

The wave has a magnificent location by Skyttehusbugten right down to Vejle Fjord. In front of Bølgen is a beautiful promenade. The nearest neighbor is the marina.
The wave was created by the renowned design studio Henning Larsen Architects, which i.a. is also behind the Opera in Copenhagen.

Vejle’s trademark

Vejle Windmill, which is described as the city’s landmark, is located on a hill at the southern end of the city. In the mill, Vejle Kunstforening runs a gallery, and in addition you can learn more about the mill’s history and get a good view of Vejle.
